​Reaching Out and Caring

The vision for a Biblical Counseling Center in Newport County, Rhode Island started in 2004 when Monique LeMaire was Ordained into Christian Ministry.  She saw a need for more Discipleship in the local churches that just was not there. 
What happened next? 
​She spent about 10 years doing prison ministry in two prisons in Massachusetts.  She counseled hundreds of inmates! 
Always pointing the person toward Jesus, many came to faith and repentance and ultimately overcame their struggles.

​Though it is some years later, the goal is always to bring "restoration" to the Counselee. 
Restoration can only come through Jesus.

Since change happens over time, counseling sessions should be scheduled for a minimum of four weeks at a time.

​As a Christian Ministry we have now expanded to having a small Association of Christian-Biblical Counselors.
